1. Introduction to Hair Tools and Products

• Overview of essential tools (e.g., brushes, combs, hairpins, curling irons, and hair straighteners).
• Introduction to different types of hair products (e.g., hairspray, mousse, texturising sprays, and gels) and how they help hold styles in place.

2. Basic Hair Up Techniques

• Sectioning and preparing the hair: You'll learn how to section hair for easy styling.
• Creating volume: Techniques for adding lift and body, such as backcombing and using volumising products.
• Simple updos: Practice styles like the classic bun, chignon, or messy updo.
• Braids: Learn basic braids (French braids, Dutch braids, fishtail braids) that can be incorporated into updos.

3. Styling for Prom and Bridal Looks

• Soft curls and waves: Learn how to create soft curls to complement updos, adding elegance and volume.
• Pinning and securing: Master the technique of securing hair without making it too bulky.
• Accessorising: Adding hairpieces such as tiaras, clips, or flowers to make the styles special for prom or bridal occasions.
